What factors effect the price of steel recently?

   My customers usually ask me when the price will be better after I provided the quotation. So I think this is a topic all buyers are interested in.

   Domestic Factors:

   1. The limitations of the production of the governmental mills.

Building materials industry implementation of comprehensive peak production. Steel production capacity in key cities is limited to 50% in heating season; In other cities, the limit shall not be less than 30%.

   2. The National Day of China is coming

On September 20, due to the National Day, all steel mills in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region will stop production, especially the materials involving zinc, aluminum, magnesium and aluminized steel plates.

   3. Demand is down in China's property sector

Under the policy of only live but not property speculation causes less demand of steel.

   Oversea Factors:

   1.Many countries adjusted the reserve funds

USA and some European countries adjusted reserve funds which reduce liquidity of the currency.

   2. The relationship between some counties shows no sign of abating

That may Impact on the exchange rates and freight rates in trading business.

   Above all, the price is going up recently, we hope that customers in need won’t miss the best time to place orders.
