The knowledge about“Chinese tricks”in steel sheet industry.

1.If you need each panel price,you should know the "tricks" in Chinese Market--Negative tolerance.

For expample,what you need is 0.8*1000*2000.According to the standard, +-0.02mm is in a resonable tolerance range .Some suppliers will offer you the negative tolerance 0.78*1000*2000 to you,in order to make their price become more competitive or get more profits.

You can caculate by yourself,at your place,you should get 127.38/0.8/1/2=79.6PCS per ton,but at the supplier place,only need (0.78*7.85*1*2)0.974 ton can reach 79.6 PCS 0.78mm thickness sheets.So it is equal to has 0.026 ton cost save per ton.Such like 800USD/MT.will have 800*0.026=21USD/MT cost save.

2.For thin sheets,such like 0.2MM,if you want the price of tons,some supplier maybe offer you 0.23mm thickness to you,because 0.23mm thickess will have 50~100RMB/MT cost cheaper than 0.2MM.But finally,you will get less PCS than real 0.2MM,because 0.23 is heavier.
